SINGAPORE UNIVERSAL GALORE

Universal Studio, Singapore
14-15 June 2014

We have wanted to go to Universal Studio since I don't know when, finally we chose to fly to Singapore from KLIA. Just a coincidence that Abah just went for a Working visit to Singapore few weeks before.

So from Changi Airport we took the MRT to our Hotel, Village Hotel Bugis. It is a 3 stars Hotel but with advantages that is second to none...proximity to most of our target destinations and good eating place.

VILLAGE HOTEL BUGIS

Universal Studio is situated on Sentosa Island and we need to take the right MRT lines to reach there.
In about 30 minutes we are on the island and checking in to Universal Studio.

It was a moderate day with temperature of 28-29 deg Celcius, the crowd are not as many as we have expected.
Entrance fees are;
S$74 / Adult
S$54 / Child (4 - 12 years old)
S$36 / Senior (60 years old & above)

Ibu had bought the tickets earlier from Groupon with probably 20% discount.
There are varieties of attractions and fun filled activities but not all are available for a certain reason that we are not aware of. We tried visiting those attractions that are not too swarmed by visitors. We went to few such as the Hollywood, Lost World and Water World.

The Lost World is the most thrilling although we have to queu for 35 minutes...

The Finale is the street parade...we could have waited for the fireworks in the evening but Abah was too tired to wait, so we head back to the Hotel after the parade.

You can see famous Hollywood cartoon or action figures

This guy from Beetlejuice, Madagascar, T-Rex, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin...

Of course whats waiting near the Hotel is what Abah has more in Mind and Tummy....ha ha the famous Murtabak of Jalan Sultan and Briani with Deer meat...mmmm Yummy.

Next day we went for sightseeing of Marina Bay Sands iconic architectural marvel and the beautiful parks.

And the skyscraper's million-dollar view from the Marina Convention Centre.

Oh yes another street food which are famous in Bugis street is the "Red Bone Soup" only for adventurous taste buds.

Then we're back at Changi Airport heading home, Adios Singapore.
