CHRISTMAS IN KUCHING, MALAYSIA





Day 1






Land of Kenyalang






Kuching Riverside Majestic Hotel, spacious and comfortable room. 




Short river ride to bring us closer to our lunch.



The famous Sarawak indulgent, "Mee Kolok", truly from Sarawak.







Scenic river boat-ride just in front of the hotel.







Kuching evening stroll







River bank pedestrian walk, clean and cosy.









Day 2,
Speedboat ride to Bako National Park, we expect to meet the proboscis monkey.






Quick lunch before jungle hike...



Pristine jungle home to Proboscis monkey....hardly seen one







It took us about 40 min to arrive at this Teluk Paku.











Sarawak also famously known of its notorious Crocodile stories, the most famous was about a gigantic crocodile named "Bujang Senang". Talk to the folks and they will most certainly tell you the chilling tales about Bujang Senang.




Next stop is Sarikin border market, a stretch of about 1 km of street market selling mostly indonesian products. Please do bring an umbrella or or anything that could shield you from hot hot hot sun.



And few km away is Gua Angin or Wind cave.




A quick stop at a nearby lake and a lunch treat at local restaurant.







And the History Museum




Not to forget, the Sarawak layered cake,there are in multitude of color and tastes, ideal as gift for friends.





Bye bye Sarawak, see you again one day.
