The Journey started on the evening of 23rd December 2016, from Kota Damansara to Mersing through Ayer Hitam, Johor would take 4h 20 min over 374 km. Then a ferry ride of 1h 45 min over 75 km from the coast of Mersing, as below;
- Kota Damansara to Ayer Hitam - 3 hours
- Arrived in Ayer Hitam at 12.00 am
- Slept at Highway Hotel
- Depart Hotel to Mersing at 4.30 am
- Arrived at Mersing 6.15 am
The catch was there was only one ferry schedule per day and its starts at 7.00 am.
Arrived at Kg Tekek jetty around 8.30 am.
This was the ferry which took as to Tioman.
After settling-in we walked to the nearby beach about 15 min walks.

The turkeys were roaming free..."heck with Christmas Dinner!! We are young and free here huh huh huh!!"
Off to Snorkelling with the Stocks (our newly found KIWI friend)!!
We started with the shallow corals at Monkey Bay
Then we moved on to Marine parks
